Folding armchair in chrome-plated tubular steel. Seat, back and arms in canvas combined with hide.
The chair made its first public appearance at the Weissenhof Housing Exhibition (1927) in the house designed by Gropius. It was first produced by Standard-Mobel Lengyel & Co., Berlin (Model B4). This model was in production for only three years. When Standard-Mobel closed and the production of Breuer furniture taken over by Thonet, this model was discontinued. It remained out of production for over forty years and has only recently been "rediscovered"
